March 27,28,29,30,31 FIS Races in VT. Could have stayed home...Beautiful weather for a goggles suntan, but the course conditions just wouldn't hold up well enough to score a points race.. April will be better.... March 21st 2004, Mt Abrams Mara Spring Series SL, Kamden scored a 57pt SL race today!! Finishing 2nd overall and 1st for J-2s. Kamden is also in the lead for the MARA CUP Points for 2004. Kamden won the 2nd run but it wasn't enough to beat Carter Casner of Bates College for the 1st overall.. It was a great day on a tough knarly course... March 20th Mara Spring Series GS, Shawnee Peak, Keegan (84) Skiing for 207Realty.com, and Kamden Burke(88) Gould Academy finished 1st and 2nd with Keegan scoring a 56pt race!! Coming from a pathetic 1st run Kamden faired better in the 2nd run but there was NO WAY to overcome the lead Keegan had built. Kamden started the 2nd run in 7th place, and moved up into the 1st place spot for J-2's, and 2nd overall behind BIG BROTHER...Keegan!! |

| Kamden Finishes 4th(GS) and 5th(DH) at J-2 Nationals at Whiteface March 5-11th LakePlacid, NY, Kamden had a pretty good week at the J-2 Nationals finishing 2 of 4 races. In the GS Kamden started with Bib# 59 and earned the runs HARD CHARGER award by placing 6th going into the final run. He moved up to 4th, missing 3rd place by .01 seconds. He did have a point race (72pts) that was very good and a 4th place medal. I think the medal is for 4th and 5th is LEAD, to signify, GET the Lead OUT! LOL (Nationals Medal to 5th place). Feb27th J-2 Eastern JO's at Burke Mtn VT After an OK first run, Kamden was in a familiar place, looking for a 2nd run to come from behind and take the Gold...Well that didn't happen today Kamden went down on a turn that ate many racers.., The leader from the first run..HUNG ON to take a well deserved GOLD Medal in SL, NO it wasn't a pretty run but it was fast enough!!. Kudos to BRIAN MORGAN !! PS. Now your the one everyone is gunning for.... Mens SL Womens SL Feb26th J-2 Eastern JO's at Burke Mtn VT Feb25th J-2 Eastern JO's at Burke Mtn VT Mens Day 2 SG Feb 24th J-2 Eastern JO's at Burke Mtn VT Day 1 SG Men Feb22nd SRiver GS Qualifier, Kamden finishes 1st for J-2's at the Mel Jodrey Memorial GS, and 3rd overall. After leading the field the first run, Kamden held on to 3rd overall with a tough 2nd run. Feb 18th NEPSAC's (New England Prep School Alpine Championships) Kamden finished 1st in GS and after leading the 1st run of SL he straddled, climbed and finished way down in the maybe even last....WE found photos!! Check this out...We are sending for our order today!! Feb 8th Shawnee SL Qualifier, Big Brother Keegan (Skiing for 207Realty.com) finishes with a 54-55pt SL race. Kamden DNF's with a hip check near the bottom. Maybe next race... Click Here Feb 4th USSA SG Maine Qualifier...Equipment failure...Kamden skied our of his ski on the 3rd turn. Missed opportunity...Only a Freshman, (1st YR J-2) there will be more... Feb 2 Monday FIS SL Dartmouth VT...DNF!! Maybe next time! Feb 1 - Superbowl Sunday...Suicide6 VT GS FIS Kamden Wins his 1st FIS SL for J-2's. Starting Bib in the 130 range Kamden moved up to 50th overall and 6th for J-2's after the 1st run, then with a good run 2nd run Kamden moved up to 1st for 2's. Now back to reality...GO PATS!! |

Jan 30th Sugarloaf USSA Qualifier Downhill...Starting 2nd to DFL Kamden wins the BIBBO award for this race by finishing 7th overall and 3rd for Maine J-2's. Results..Click Here DH Results Jan 28-+29 Downhill training runs at Sugarloaf..and ALOT of WIND delays...Kamden won the 2nd training run...Cold windy days on PLANET SUGARLOAF..I think they sould say the heck with MARS, drop a probe on Sugarloaf, the only thing different is the REMOTE control would probably work. Question IF they can get the probe to work by remote on MARS why can't they get mine to work on the TV from 6' away??? Jan 18th MARA SL Qualifier...Kamden's first Maine Qualifier he finishes 1st for J-2's and even more exciting 2nd overall. Kamden took his strong 1st Run and a hard fought 2nd run to finish with a very low 50pt SL Race. (Which is very good for those of you who wouldn't know) Click here for Mens Results Jan 18th SL Sugarloaf Jan 11th Sugarbush FINALLY Kamdens 1st SL FIS Points again it was SOOOO Cold and on the 2nd Run the wind was 20-30MPH +/-. SO glad these 4 days are over!! Kamden finished 4th for J-2's and there were ALOT of DNF! Results It ended up about a 90-91 pt race..Not GOOD but it's a start! Dec 30th USSA GS WatervilleValley, Pfosi Memorial NHARA Open Giant Slalom Getting the entire race in JUST before the rain! This race came down to mistakes...on the short, fast course one mistake would move you back many positions..kamden scores a 62pt GS race... Dec 27th USA SL Wildcat...DNS 2nd Run...Dad was called into work, After discussing the pros and cons of going or staying...Dad won! Kamden didn't want to walk home... Dec 22 USSA GS Attitash Kamden finished 1st for J-2's and 2nd overall for J-1+2's at the Christmas Open GS at Attitash. In 5th place after the first run Kamden layed down the fastest 2nd run to jump up to 2nd overall. XmasOpen Mens Results 12-22-03 Dec 21 FIS GS Sunday River- DNF Dec 6th USSA-SL Sugarloaf Maine...Kamden had 2 DNF's today. This was the begining of the HUGE 40" snowstorm of 2003! No it had nothing to do with the DNF's. |
